A great military commander and honourable person of Islam has passed away.

A severe punishment awaits the perpetrators

In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful,

Dear Nation!

A great military commander and honourable person of Islam has passed away. Last night, the blessed souls of the martyrs took the purified soul of Qasim Suleimani with them. For years, he struggled sincerely and bravely in the battlefront against the Satans and evil people of the world. For years, he had the ambition of martyrdom in the way of God. In the end, this took Qasim Suleimani to this magnanimous rank, and his pure blood was spilled by the most wretched of people on the planet. I congratulate the Imam of our time and his soul, as well as consoling the nation of Iran. He was a salient example of those trained under Islam and the school of Imam Khomeini. He spent his entire life waging jihad in the way of God. In all these years, martyrdom was always the reward he was seeking. With his departure, with the power and might of God, his action will not stop or be closed down. However, a severe punishment awaits the perpetrators, who polluted their hands with his blood and that of the other martyrs of last night's incident. Martyr Qasim is an international face for resistance, and all those passionate for resistance are seeking vengeance for his blood. All friends -and all enemies as well - know that the line of resistance of jihad will continue with added vigour and decisive success awaits the fighters on this blessed path. The loss of the general and devotee is bitter, but the continuation of the fight and the gaining of victory will make the killers and criminals even more bitter.

The country of Iran will remember the name of Qasim Suleimani, who had a great rank, as well as those martyred with him especially the great fighter of Islam, the respected Abu Mahdi al-Muhandisi. In relation to this, I aounce three days of mourning in the country. And we congratulate and console his wife and children as well as those loyal to him.
